While I agree with much of what you say, it is still important to remember the personality profile of the person you are meeting with! If you try and strike up a conversation about friends and family with someone who is totally a HEADLINE then you will be digging your own grave. http://sandersconsulting.com/winningthechemistrybattle.html

Also, I don’t recommend asking good questions until you are past the trust building phase.
