Five year-old hot-shop Droga5 now only pitches new business if they get paid. Why? They know they win 60-70% of the time when they are, versus only 20% when they're not.
Other agencies pitch
Several comments:
1. It depends on your stature in the market/industry.
2. It has to be evaluated on a case by case basis.
3. If it includes creative, it needs to be a pretty well qualified opportunity that’s worth the risk.
