I like this comparison and I think it works on a number of levels.  After reading your SAT Question of the Day post, this one took me right back to college!

  1. Don’t cram the night before a test.  Translation: Practice new business consistently
  2. Schedule mandatory times to study. Translation: Schedule your new business activities on your calendar.
  3. Clean up your study habits. Translation: focus on companies that are a good potential fit for your agency.
  4. Register for the right classes, don’t set yourself up for failure.
Translation: Set achievable goals, so that hitting them will help you stick with your plan.
  5. Learn how you study best
Translation: track your activities. Knowing your metrics will make you a better new business person and allow you to determine what to change in order to improve.

These 5 tips can be helpful within many contexts when applied correctly.  Great advice Todd!
